Hey, Ross here:
Shortly after this newsletter gets sent out, we’ll get the latest CPI data.
If it comes in hotter than expected, it could put a real damper on the strong price action we’ve been seeing lately.
The level I’ll be watching?
Whether the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq will be able to hold their 200-day moving averages.
Chart of the Day

After yesterday’s announcement of a trade deal with China, markets gapped up and closed higher, with the S&P 500 closing above its 200-day moving average (red line on chart).
The same thing happened with the Nasdaq.

Paul Tudor Jones has a famous quote – “nothing good happens below the 200-day moving average”.
This is the first time the markets have been back above this critical level since March.
If we can stay above this line – even without hitting new highs – things are looking really constructive.
Insight of the Day
We’re now in a news-driven market cycle.
As I just highlighted above, price action is important.
But as the past few months have shown, we’re now in a highly news-driven market cycle.
If President Trump comes out today and reinstates tariffs on everyone, the market will tank again – no matter how strong the price action has been.
And the thing about news-driven cycles like this…
Is that it gives those with superior information and even greater edge than they normally do.
That’s why in just a few hours at 11 a.m. Eastern later this morning…
I’m going LIVE for a strategy session to show you how to navigate this news-driven cycle…
So you can uncover the biggest opportunities hiding under the surface.
Remember, everyone has access to the same news headlines…
Which means if you’re relying on that to trade, you’ll always be a step behind.
What I’ll be demonstrating later this morning is all about how to get ahead of the markets by using information the rest of the market doesn’t have access to yet.
So click here to lock in your spot for my live strategy session if you haven’t already…
And I’ll see you in just a bit at 11 a.m. ET.

“Traders Agency is awesome.
I have motored through multiple online high-brow investment people with their proprietary methods and none match the insight, supportive instruction and explanations of the vagaries of stock trading as I find with Ross Givens.”
