With both the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq notching up new highs last Friday, the V-shaped rebound is complete.
Let’s see what this could mean.

This is all the times the S&P 500 has rallied from a big dip to a new high within 3 months – aka a V-shaped rebound…
As well as the returns of the index after across various timeframes.
As you can see, in most cases, while there may be some “near-term chop” right after hitting this new high…
Returns are overwhelmingly positive two months to one year later.
In short, a likely scenario moving forward is near-term chop combined with longer term gains.
That’s a classic positioning opportunity.
