Hey, Ross here:
For most of the past decade, one part of the market had a pretty miserable time keeping up.
Lately, that’s started to change.
And if the shift keeps going, it could open up a much bigger hunting ground for traders.
Take a look:
Chart of the Day

This chart compares small-cap value stocks with large-cap growth stocks.
The easiest way to read it is simple:
When the line falls, large-cap growth is winning.
When it rises, small-cap value is winning.
And for years, the direction was obvious.
The line kept grinding lower as giant growth stocks ran away from the smaller, cheaper names.
But look at the right side of the chart.
The ratio has turned sharply higher.
Small-cap value is finally starting to outperform.
That is an opportunity.
Because after years where investors could mostly stick with the same giant growth names…
Money is starting to reward a very different part of the market.
Smaller companies. Cheaper stocks.
Names that often get far less attention from Wall Street.
And that changes the way I go hunting for opportunities.
I explain below.
Insight of the Day
A tailwind is good – a catalyst is better
If small-cap value keeps outperforming, that helps.
But it still doesn’t tell me which small-cap stock to buy.
That’s where the lack of Wall Street coverage can actually work in our favor.
A company like Microsoft has dozens of analysts following every quarter, every product launch, every change in guidance.
Move down into smaller stocks and that coverage thins out fast.
Some companies only have a few analysts watching them.
Others barely get covered at all.
That means changes inside the business can take longer to work their way into Wall Street’s expectations.
And if I’m looking through that part of the market, I want some way to know where to start digging.
One thing I’ve relied on for years is insider buying.
The people running the company don’t need an analyst report to tell them whether business is improving.
They already see it.
So when a CEO, CFO or Director starts buying shares with personal money in a lightly followed company…
I pay attention.
Now you’ve got the broader market helping small-cap value…
And a reason to take a closer look at one stock in particular.
But not all insider buying is created equal.
In fact, most of it isn’t worth following at all.
That’s why later today at 11 a.m. Eastern…
I’m going LIVE to show you how I find the high-conviction insider purchases I actually care about…
The warning signs that tell me when to stay away…
And the 3 counterintuitive insider-buying signals I’ve relied on for nearly a decade.
This strategy recently pointed us to two stocks that have nearly doubled in less than three months…
Alongside multiple other triple-digit – and even quadruple-digit – gains.
With smaller, cheaper stocks finally starting to get some attention again…
This is a massive opportunity I want to help you take advantage of.
So click here to lock in your free seat if you haven’t already…
And I’ll see you LIVE today at 11 a.m. ET.
