The Smart Money is Moving FAST

Hey, Ross here:

The market’s leadership is changing fast.

One week, the same stocks look unstoppable.

The next, money is already moving somewhere else.

And as today’s charts show…

Even the “smart money” is moving fast to keep up.

Chart of the Day

It shows the NAAIM Exposure Index — a measure of how aggressively active fund managers are invested in U.S. stocks.

The black line shows their weekly exposure.

And look at the section I highlighted on the right.

Their positioning has swung from around 75…

Up toward 100…

Back down…

Then straight back up again.

In simple terms, the “smart money” has been rapidly shifting between bullish and cautious.

They pile in…

Pull back…

Then pile straight back in as conditions change.

Now look at the second chart.

It shows how momentum stocks performed last quarter versus this month.

Momentum stocks are simply the stocks that have already been outperforming.

And during Q2, they crushed the broader market.

S&P 500 momentum stocks outperformed by 29%.

Emerging-market momentum stocks beat their index by 26%.

But this month, those same trades have reversed across nearly every corner of the market.

Yesterday’s winners are getting sold.

So the smart money is changing both:

How aggressively it is piling into — or pulling back from — the market…

And which stocks it wants to own.

That creates opportunity.

But it also creates a problem for anyone relying on stale information.

Because in a market moving this fast…

Following where the smart money was could leave you one full rotation behind.

I explain below.

Insight of the Day

Following the smart money means following the move – not the position.

A lot of traders look at what institutions already own.

That can be useful.

But those holdings only tell you where the money has already gone.

And right now, that information can get old fast.

Yesterday’s favorite can become today’s source of funds.

A stock that looked heavily accumulated last month may already be getting sold to finance the next trade.

So I’m less interested in where the smart money is sitting.

I want to know where it is moving next.

Because large funds cannot shift billions of dollars without leaving clues behind.

That’s why tomorrow morning…

I’ll be showing you how to find and exploit these “smart money clues” to target triple-digit gains right now.

The details will be in your inbox early tomorrow morning, so make sure you keep an eye out for that.

In the meantime though…

Customer Story of the Day

“Ross is a minefield of knowledge…

Really enjoying his live sessions – a lot of information to process being new enough to the game.

But I’m enjoying the teaching style as he breaks things down well and says it how it is – no fluff no messing about.

This man knows his onions recommend 10/10”

Missed Nvidia? Don’t Miss This.

Nvidia powered the first AI boom—but it's not the only game in town. There’s a small, overlooked sector quietly holding up the entire future of AI. Without it, the AI revolution doesn’t happen. And this could be your second chance—but only if you act fast.
